English Cabaret announce their programme for this year's Edinburgh Fringe

As the Edinburgh Festival Fringe sets out its stall for Summer 2023, English Cabaret are delighted to announce their part in 'one of the greatest celebrations of arts on the planet' with an exciting programme of musical shows.

For the centenary of New Zealand-born modernist writer Katherine Mansfield, Sue Casson's award-winning musical drama Two Tigers, telling the story of her extraordinary life and turbulent love affair with editor John Middleton Murry, is re-imagined a lifetime on from its 1988 Fringe premiere.

Whilst Lily Casson brings her own show I Heart Musicals to the stage for the first time - shining a spotlight on a century of song. Sharing her favourites – some familiar, some exciting new discoveries – she takes you on a journey of how they came to be and why she hearts them.

Dreams of Peace & Freedom will also be returning to the Fringe for a number of performances shining a light on different aspects of the story of David Maxwell Fyfe's journey from Nuremberg to Strasbourg. English Cabaret are continuing their long association with C Venues for the season. You can discover more about the shows in images and words at our website.

The Festival runs from 4 - 28 August, and tickets will be on sale at the Fringe box office from May.
